In the meantime, I also took a tote bag class at the local Joann Fabrics store and am quite happy with the way it turned out! So is my daughter who now has a bag to keep all of her ballet clothing/ street clothing in when she goes to class.

A Bag A Day?
I am still plodding through the sewing lessons in my Stitch By Stitch book. Today, I made a case for my knitting needles out of the lesson for a portable place mat. I ran into a few snags and am hoping to recreate another one of these for a friend, so that I can perfect the art of making continual bias tape. Once I get it down, I'll post step by step photos.
In the meantime, I also took a tote bag class at the local Joann Fabrics store and am quite happy with the way it turned out! So is my daughter who now has a bag to keep all of her ballet clothing/ street clothing in when she goes to class.
